aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand…. patricia brick made my lil’ monster her very own GRONK COSTUME for halloween!!!
and THAT…. is the cutest thing you’ll ever see.
Heh. Back when my oldest daughter Caitlin was around 4, I was driving with a friend in tow and her in the car seat. Another motorist cut me off and I let go with a suitable expletive (“a__hole”, IIRC).
Suddenly I heard Catie repeat the word behind me. My only thought was, “My wife is gonna kill me.” My friend, with unusual perspicacity, turned around and said, “Catie, when I say ‘say it’, you say ‘moron.’ Can you say ‘moron’?” My daughter happily repeated the new word and forgot the previous one.
After that, it became the tagline in our group; whenever someone did something stupid, one of us would say, “Say it, Catie!” and if she was within earshot, her small voice would pipe up, “Moron!” This lasted until she was old enough to be too cool to make her dad laugh. ๐
That is the cutest thing EVER!!!! Awwww!!!!!!
My daughter (3y.o.) is a parrot right now. Her aunt came over and we were talking about how to keep girls in cute costumes and out of what she referred to as “slutty witch” costumes and for 20 minutes all you heard was “I a slutty witch!” Great.
Love the Lebowski reference!!! And your little Gronk is even cuter than the original! Nice!!
Grayson as Gronk: the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup of Comics!
It’d be fun to see you draw characters from The Big Lebowski.
When I was a wee one, I at one point decided to “make up” a word. Unfortunately, I somehow “made up” (without ever having heard it before, I swear–heh) the “B-word!” It took my parents a while to convince me the great new word I’d invented wouldn’t go over well. ;P
I love how excite Gronk looks about her new vocabulary!
lol… i love gronk’s face as she’s saying it.. ๐ and grayson as gronk = epic cuteness.
Those photos are just too cute! Thanks for sharing! ๐
oh my goodness! that is the cuteset thing i’ve ever seen. and my little sister’s first word was s–t. at a restaurant. my dad was so proud.
Awesome!
When i was young i thought any boots that were higher than ones ankles were hooker boots. Just sort of figured it was the name of a style. Not knowing what that met, i yelled it to my mom about someone who walked by in knee high boots. Lol. looking back its pretty hilarious. i was in trouble though.
Another great comic and cute costume. Also – just heard your interview on Comics Coast to Coast. I love that you sounded like a crotchety old man! It just adds to your charm.
