Perhaps Gronk would do better with Shel Silverstein’s poetry? I don’t know anyone who can resist “Come In,” and “Where the Sidewalk Ends” is pretty boss.
I’m SOOOO glad to be in the company of Gronk on Shel’s books. The Giving Tree was a present to my daughter years ago, and after reading it, I didn’t know what to do with it. There are NO role models here. Nothing to help my kid to aspire to. It’s a horrible codependant relationship to the extreme.
Maybe Gronk should try something a bit more grown up? I love Shil Silversteen myself, but it’s been ages since I’ve read it and would probably find it disturbing. Maybe she should try some Stephen King or John Saul.. that’ll keep her up at night. I’ld love to see her reaction to scary movies.
